Four everyday habits that support recovery

Treatment is only part of the picture. What you do every day also shapes how you feel. These four areas are a good place to begin, and small changes count.

1. Eat for steady energy

Build meals around vegetables, protein, and whole foods. You do not need a perfect diet. Start by improving one meal a day.

2. Keep moving, within your limits

Regular movement supports joints, circulation, and mood. If something hurts, ask what you can safely do rather than stopping altogether.

3. Protect your sleep

Your body does much of its recovery during sleep. A consistent bedtime and a dark, cool room are simple places to start.

4. Take stress seriously

Long-term stress can affect sleep, appetite, and how you experience pain. A short walk, slow breathing, or time with people you trust can all help.

Not sure where to start?

A comprehensive lifestyle assessment looks at all four areas together and turns them into a plan that fits your life.
